EDF
One river, one territory.
EDF (Electricité de France), is France's main electric utility company responsible for generating, distributing, and supplying electricity.
EDF uses water to generate electricity, and rivers have been part of its history for a long time.
10 years ago, EDF made a promise to its partners: to enter into long-term local partnerships to build the future of the valleys together. With that in mind, in 2012, the first "EDF One River, One Territory" Agency opened in Rodez, Aveyron, and since then, 6 other Agencies have opened across 9 different sites.
Last year, FACTSTORY produced a video taking a look back at the 10 years of this innovative programme, created for and by the people of metropolitan areas. We filmed the partners, workers in action, highlighting the different territories, infrastructures, rivers and beautiful French panoramas with drone sequences… We also conducted interviews and created infographics to help the viewer understand the key information, in a more powerful way.
